Sheebah Karungi Thrilled After Being Listed To Perform At The MAMAs

Local pop star Sheebah Karungi has expressed happiness and joy after they listed her as one of the performers at the forthcoming MTV Africa Music Awards.

The much-anticipated music awarding event will be taking place in Kampala, Uganda on February 20, 2020.

Sheebah, upon hearing the spectacular news, rushed to her social media platforms to share her happiness with her fans.

‘’I am beyond honored to be one of the performing artists on the MTV MAMA Awards 2021. This is a dream come true and thank you MTV MAMAs for choosing me and believing in me,’’ she wrote.

Sheebah said she can’t wait to be on that stage entertaining a vast audience and performing alongside other great artists. Karungi will be performing with other African stars like Wiz kid from Nigeria, Khaligraph Jones from Kenya, Diamond Platinumz from Tanzania, among many others.

Sheebah Karungi also noted that she wouldn’t be where she is today if it wasn’t for the love and support from her fans. She further told them to buckle up because she is going to heavily represent Uganda on that stage come February 20th. She then urged her fans to keep on voting for her in such big opportunities.

‘’Let’s continue rising up, voting, and bring those two awards home. Love you all and I can’t wait for this day,’’ she said.
She was nominated in two categories which are, the Best Female Artiste and Best Ugandan Act.
