Sheilah Gashumba Heaps Praise On Alien Skin

Fast-rising singer Patrick Mulwana aka Alien Skin has surely grabbed the music industry and he is dominating the charts both uptown and downtown. This has seen media personality Sheilah Gashumba heap praise on her.

For someone uptown like Sheilah heaping praise on the singer, it means he’s really cut across boundaries. Sheilah likened Alien Skin to one of Nigeria’s current chart toppers Asake.

Apparently, Asake came out of nowhere with a different sound and took over the Afrobeats genre by storm. He started doing music shows in Nigeria and few could figure out where his style had originated from.

The NRG FM radio presenter added that talent is talent no matter what. She then went ahead to list the Ghetto singer’s Party song as her current favorite.

“Alien skin reminds me of ASAKE!! Asake came out of nowhere with a new vibe & topped charts in Nigeria. He later did shows out of Nigeria and no one ever figured out where his music pattern came from!! TALENT IS TALENT. My favorite song right now is Party by Alien Skin,” she said.

Alien Skin rose to the scene through TikTok in the COVID-19 pandemic era. However, it wasn’t until late last year that he started to peak high on the charts.

Without a doubt, he’s currently the hottest and most trending singer in the land. His naughty and mysterious character has also added as a catalyst to his popularity.

He’s been in the headlines for the past few weeks. At first, he was assaulted by fellow singer, Pallaso.

From there he proceeded to organize a record-breaking concert at Freedom City that left the venue ‘asking for water.’ This concert left heads spinning as no musician in Uganda has ever pulled off such numbers for their debut concerts.
