Senegalese American singer Aliaume Thiam Badara popularly known as Akon is set to grace president-elect, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s swearing-in ceremony.

The singer who was in the country over a month ago visited the president at his upcountry home of Rwakitura. The two held fruitful business dialogue.

The singer showed a willingness to return for the swearing-in ceremony. Statehouse also expects to jet into the country with 12 other celebrities from the US.

“Expected are 12 American celebrities, former NFL Players, and some cast members of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.” The office of the Presidential advisor on diaspora issues said.

The celebrities expected to make Akon’s entourage include former NFL players Israel Idonije, David Young, Andre Lamont Johnson, actress Porsha Dyanne Williams, among others.

It should be remembered that in Akon’s last visit, he was given land by the government where he plans to develop a futuristic city by the year 2036.
