The Oli Miss singer then recruited a number of upoming artists. These include Henry Mwanje himself, Sasha Brighton Kalungi, Jovan Luzinda, Grace Khan among others. All these however are currently no longer in the group as they pursued solo careers.
Mwanje however believes that Lutaaya has given them a negative vibe. This is ever sine they left the group yet he’s their musical father.
Furthermore, Mwanje also revealed the tough economic situation they were in while in Lutaaya’s group. These were given meagre pay that couldn’t even sustain them.
“Mzee Geoffrey Lutaaya should stop being negative to us beause he taught us whatever we know in music and we appreciate him. You were never given a song to record if you were badly behaved. The situation wasn’t good either. We were paid just 20,000 shillings. I was then put on an increment to 50,000 shillings and recently to 70,000 shillings when I was about to leave the group. Its this little money where you had to do shopping, eat and do all other things. We however left the group after our contracts expired. Since then our musical father who we appreiate so muh is so negative towards us. I don’t know why,” said Henry Mwanje.
Lutaaya however seemed to imply that this group he helped mentor had bad behaviors and it was the main reason he let them go.
The Kakuto county MP added that there wasn’t much he could change about them. A number of these were already mature people by the time he met them and knew what they wanted.
Mwanje however on the other hand further said that they are still hopeful that harmony will be restored between them and their former boss.
