Singer Kabaya Advises Ghetto People To Abstain From Drugs

Ex-Firebase singer Kabaya has come out to advise all the ghetto people to abstain from using drugs. The singer said that most people who use drugs come from disadvantaged families. Some actually come from the streets where they already use narcotics.

There is no absolute doubt that most people who come from disadvantaged areas such as slums and ghettos fall prey to drug abuse.

He said that at times he searches for his phone whilst holding it in his hand. Therefore all those who have never fallen to using drugs should stay away due to the effects.

He also said that if a situation such as the previous one of lockdown comes back, they might run mad. Kabaya cited low income as the major cause of drug abuse among the youths. For instance, if they had enough money, they would use better alcohol and not drugs.

“I want to advise all the ghetto people who have never used drugs to desist. They are dangerous and have long lasting impacts. Even us who use them, its not our wish because they have made us go through a lot. I myself start looking for my phone yet I’m holding it in my hands. If a situation such as the lockdown comes back, many of us might run mad,” Kabaya said.

He advised the ghetto youths to just believe in themselves and work hard. This will see them escape the challenges in the ghetto.

A number of musicians have fallen to narcotics while others are still battling with the effects.

The likes of Jamie Culture, Nina Roz, Jackie Chandiru, Qute Kaye and Keko being the latest have all battled with drugs.
