Singer Ricardo Omuto Survives Nasty Accident

Barely known singer Ricardo Omuto has apparently survived an accident that could have ended his life after a car he was traveling in overturned. The no longer young singer said that he was from his village to oversee burial preparations for his father.

He revealed that his father suffered from prostate cancer. However, he got an operation and healed before succumbing to a heart condition.

Ricardo revealed that he traveled to his village on Saturday when his dad died. He then returned to Kampala on Sunday with a couple of his relatives to prepare for the people from Kampala.

These were coming to help him send off his father. However, en route to Kampala, the front car tyre burst and the car hit a ridge before returning to the road.

Luckily for them, they didn’t suffer grave injuries. He was able to rush them to hospital in Kayunga where they got medical attention.

“I’m so lucky to be alive after an accident as I was coming from my village in Kamuli. My father died and I went to the village on Saturday. I planned to come back to Kampala and help with those who were coming to bury. I set off with some of my family members but we suffered an accident along the way. Luckily for us, it wasn’t so severe and I managed to rush the others to hospital on a boda,” he said.

It should be recalled that Ricardo Omuto rose to fame under Kadongo Kamu singer Abdu Mulaasi. Many actually thought he was the ‘Farm’ singer’s son but he isn’t.

When they asked whether Abdu Mulaasi knew about these unfortunate incidents that befell him, Ricardo said he doesn’t.

He was however told that Abdu Mulaasi said that he’s still facing these problems. This is because he denied knowing him and they parted ways bitterly.

Ricardo thinks that Abdu Mulaasi could be doing something evil to jeopardize his life.
