Being around drunkards and sharing a bed with his mother started to become difficult. This was after adolescence hit in and he started undergoing some unprecedented body changes.
He started going out to spend nights at his friends. However, the situation there wasn’t good either.
Whenever the friends came with their girlfriends, he had to give way by moving out. This would happen in the wee hours of the night. On top of that, the place was always crowded. And for fear of being rounded by Police for alleged crimes, he fled the place too.
“I grew up in tough conditions. When my father died, my mother sold most of his belongings and I didn’t have a say. I had to share a bed with her around her bar. A time came and this became difficult for me. I was in primary six and I had started going through some body changes. The only option was to go to my friends’ places but things weren’t any better there. Whenever they came with girls, I had to make way and stand in the cold in the wee hours of the night,” he said.
He added that currently, he has a place of his own. And it is the first time he’s having a place to call a real home. The singer has found relative success in the past few weeks. He’s undoubtedly one of those on the rise to stardom.
