Sipapa Sent Back To Jail Over New Charges

Incarcerated city socialite Charles Olim aka Sipapa, was yesterday sent back to Luzira Prison over fresh charges. It should be noted that Sipapa is currently grappling with numerous charges of theft.

He was arraigned before court yesterday and remanded back to prison until 30th April 2023. According to his lawyer, he’s accused of stealing money and other things worth Shs 169m from a Chinese national.

However this case has a lot of loopholes according to Sipapa’s lawyer.

He apparently thinks that his client is wrongly being accused because the statement made by this Chinese national doesn’t add up. First and foremost the proof doesn’t add up as this Chinese can’t account for the money he said Sipapa stole.

Besides it was only this Chinese with the office keys and his other fellow. This other guy with the keys wasn’t added to the case which all is suspicious. The lawyer is however optimistic that they are going to win this case.

It was also this case that prevented Sipapa from being granted bail.

“Our client is facing other charges relating to robbery. This time of a Chinese national. The case says that he stole over 165M shillings but these people can’t account for it. Their statements are full of loopholes and I’m sure we shall win this case. It’s also the case that stopped him from getting bail. It is also a different case from the one of the South Sudanese national. We shall be back in court on April 30th and we are sure we shall free him,” said Sipapa’s lawyer.

Meanwhile Sipapa’s ex Vivian Tendo mad at her fellow musicians.

She expressed her anger towards the likes of Dr Jose Chameleone, Spice Diana, Melody among others. These were friends of Sipapa and enjoyed his money while he was still living large.

However, none of these have ever showed up at prison to visit him. They have also meanwhile never appeared for his court sessions.

Sipapa is now facing two separate cases of robbery one for a Chinese national and another for a South Sudanese.
