Corona virus has put everything on hold and the situation is still bad in many different countries around the World. The faded musician Sophie Gombya was the first to advise artistes to stop wasting money and later cry for their own mistakes.
Therefore Gombya advised musicians to start saving money as they prepare for anything troublesome in case it happens. In a statement issued by the UMA, the association is supposed to block any performances of artistes across the country in the next one month, and they are aware it’s for Ugandans’ benefit.
Musicians should not only specialize in music but also set up other income generators.
“Ugandans! Also we as Musicians, also forced into leave, have a major challenge regarding how we shall survive this period of lockdown. We need to use this as a lesson to learn to have a saving culture. To be prepared for any eventualities, to always have a plan B,” the statement read.
A lock down of 32 days was set up to minimize the spread of the deadly virus.
