Spark TV’s Livewire Presenters Recalled Back From Suspension

Spark TV, a sister station to Nation Media Group’s NTV has recalled its two presenters, Flavia Mawagi and Immy Candace of the Livewire gossip show. It should be recalled that these two were suspended for a few days over a disciplinary issue.

Apparently Immy Candace and Flavia Mawagi got involved in a verbal exchange a few days ago. This was while they were presenting a story about the marriage of Mukasa Mbidde.

Immy was the one supposed to present the bit of the story. However, Mawagi took over by interrupting her.

She didn’t stop there but went ahead to tell her some unbecoming words. These included reminding her of how she (Mawagi) joined the TV station before Immy.

This could have resulted into a physical fight but luckily they managed to control themselves.

In the following days, Spark TV filled in a different presenter for the duo. It however seems that the pair worked out their differences. They started their program yesterday.

The TV station took to its social media pages to reveal that the presenters were back and this time better. However, some fans are not content.

They want Flavia Mawagi fired as they accuse her of being the troublemaker at the Kampala Serena Hotel based TV station.

These same fans accused Mawagi who also presents the Spark TV Updates of being a troublemaker. Additionally, these fans believe that she got Caroline Marcah who is now at Urban TV to quit.

Meanwhile this scuffle that ensued on air did boost the show’s reviews. This is because it had fallen way down the pecking order in regard to gossip shows in the country. In fact, the game got monopolized by Sanyuka TV’s Uncut show.
