Spice Diana Calls Upon Ugandans To Pray For Evelyn Lagu

Musician Hajarah Namukwaya aka Spice Diana has come out to call upon Ugandans to pray for singer Evelyn Lagu whom she said is not in good condition.

Lagu who suffered from kidney failure a few months ago travelled to Turkey for a kidney transplant.

However, the transplant failed due to a number of reasons relating to her frail health. She was then put on dialysis but the hospital denied discharging her because of the huge hospital bill.

The singer came out to narrate how she owed the hospital more than Ugx 100 million shillings.

She went ahead to call upon well-wishers to help and donate to her whatever they could so that she can pay these bills and return home.

Spice Diana took sometime to visit Evelyn

Spice Diana who has been in Turkey for a musical performance over the last three days took some time off to visit the fellow singer in the hospital.

“We paid a visit to our own Evelyn this evening. She is still strong and smiling but struggling with kidney and heart complications as you already know. Please let’s continue praying for her. In case you can extend any financial assistance to help her survive in Istanbul and for her medical bills.” Spice Diana posted on her Facebook page before adding the phone numbers on where to attach the assistance.

Some of Spice Diana’s followers were quick to ask her if she had donated or wanted the fans to do that. Others said that Evelyn Lagu should contact State House to get financial assistance.

This is because the Ogumanga singer had her bills at Nakaseero Hospital cleared by President Museveni through events promoter Balaam after she was first diagnosed with the sickness.
