Working As Housemaid In Several Homes Helped Me Pay My School Fees – Spice Diana

Ugandan female musician Namukwaya Hajara Diana popularly known as Spice Diana narrates her inspiring story as she grew up in the hands of her mother.

Many of her friends refer to her as a real hustler because of the kind of life she grew up in whilst in the hands of her dear mom who made sure that Spice goes to school by all means.

During an interview with Allan Cruz’s celebrity truck show on BBS TV, the ‘Jangu Ondabe’ Hit maker revealed the privations she went through whilst growing up.

Spice Diana was employed as a housemaid in several homes around Uganda’s capital Kampala. She also worked as a waitress in quite a number of restaurants in Nakulabye, a Kampala suburb.

She narrated that she worked together with her mother and the little money she earned was saved to cater for her school fees.

“I worked as a housemaid in several homes around Kampala. Both me and my mother used to do laundry work in people’s homes to earn a living. The little money we earned was used to pay my school fees, ” she said.
