Stella Nyanzi Criticizes Dr Ruth Aceng Over Being Caught With Mask Off In Public

The Political analyst and MAK researcher Stella Nyanzi together with two Makerere students have been arrested this morning as they marched to Parliament to present a petition demanding justice for their deceased counterpart Emmanuel Tegu, whose life was snuffed a week ago, after he was allegedly beaten by people inside the University.

Minister of Health, Dr. Ruth Aceng was captured in pictures with crowds in Lira, Aromo Sub-county without a face mask and with no social distancing.

Dr Ruth Aceng declared recently that she intends to run for the position of woman member of Parliament for Lira District. Her reaction attracted many Ugandans especially those who are still suffering due to covid-19 measures.

Stella Nyanzi took to her Facebook page and criticized the health minister for not complying with covid-19 guidelines.

“Dr Aceng, Dr Aceng, Dr Aceng! Got caught with your knickers down? You, who commanded all to wear masks. Was caught with your mask off in public. You, who commanded all to social distance
Was caught tightly squeezed by the public. You, who issued the Tonsembelera campaign
Was found dancing Nsembelera-Nsembelera! You, who banned gatherings of more than five Was caught addressing a public rally. You, who banned political gatherings Was caught courting your voters en masse! Dr Aceng, Dr Aceng, Dr Aceng, You got caught with your panties down! Will you deceive us it’s not your pubic hair?” Stella Nyanzi posted.

They must accept to open some of us who are yet in captivity soonest otherwise she will not breathe too! In a world where democracy prevailed, she would be an ex minister by now by resigning or offering apology while kneeling down to the populace for her complacency,‘Alfred Wegener commented.

Haven’t you read her post yet? She said she was teaching people how to use the mask and that she wasn’t holding a rally. She also claimed that people came in big numbers and it was very difficult for her to control them. Not sure if they were unruly,’Nthubuga Marco commented.
