Super Natural Power Mindset Leading Many Africans To Poverty

The belief of super natural power is leading many Africans to poverty. We have a tendency of believing that there is super natural power that should work in our favor for life improvement. This results in people doing less awaiting for a miracle. It can be ancestral, Godly or any other super natural intervention. The doctrine we are being taught is not complete. We are not empowered to contribute towards to development of our well-being.

I have witnessed people substituting hard working with prayer. To my understanding this should work hand in hand. One must be prepared to work hard, and praying at the same time for God to bless the work of your hands.

Now our churches are preaching about riches that should be obtained as a result of prayer and fasting, seeding to the man of God. No encouragement on hard work and development of ideas to success. Either as entrepreneurs or employees. There must be a teaching on how to save, budget and strategize on spending.

Why I’m talking about churches. Churches are most common places where people meet in agreement. This is the place where people meet for the sake of listening to the man on the pulpit and believes him. This is how powerful a church is.

Rituals or traditional doctors also do a big harm to our success. Instead of encouraging you to work hard, they give you a charm that you should put your faith in. Now someone is not productive some where some how waiting for the given charm to perform miracles.

People are growing old waiting for charms to perform miracles in their lives. It is established that most charms from traditional doctors are actually a burden to one’s life. They can kill the whole family instead of bringing fortune as it is told when given.

Believe in working hard than super natural power

Read my book ‘The Herdboy‘ and learn process of hard working and results of a well planned life plan.

Yes we should pray for wisdom not miracle riches. We should never replace hard working with prayer. The two must work hand in hand.

In June I posted about our poor business performance and I outlined measures that we took to revive our business. We embarked on advertising, lowering prices and increasing our stocks. Yes we prayed about it and ask God for intervention. In our everyday morning assembly we pray. So it’s our company culture.

Now our business is doing much better. We never went to seek for a charm, anointing oil or holy water.

In the case of poor business performance, some people could have resorted in sleep on mountains praying for Breakthrough but doing absolutely nothing on the ground to bust sales.

Some could have traveled to places seeking ritual intervention but doing absolutely nothing on the ground to improve their business.

We cannot afford to do nothing and expect the super natural power to perform miracles. Definitely it will not work.

Let’s exercise hard working, proper planning, enough research, implementation of new ideas, good savings, financial discipline and praying at the same time.
