Why Most Young People Fail To Breakthrough In Business

More often, young people men and women approach me for advice on business. In most cases I do not give straight advice but I simply ask questions. In giving answers one will be able to identify possible solutions to the problem.

Last week I was talking to this one young man. He said he wants to start a business and I asked how he needs to start his business. He said he needs only $2500.00 to start.

I said give me a break down how you are going to spend the money, he said he wants to buy a car with that money to start a business which he needs about $500 to kick start.

So I asked him that, he needs $2500 to buy a car so that he can start a business that can kick start with $500.00.

‘Why can’t you start your business with $500 then out of profit you raise $2500 to buy the car. But he keep emphasizing that it’s not possible to start that business without a car. The car is needed to carry hid equipments and to travel to and from his working place.

So I noticed that most young people are failing to start a business not because of capital but because of mindset.

In other circumstances, we need to tune the mindset first before we give capital for business.

What young people sees as obstacles are actually not obstacles but just need to shift the mindset.

I advised the young man to start his business with $500 and raise money to buy the car. He can start by using public transport and hire taxes when necessary. If the business fails to perform to raise enough to buy a car then may be it would not be a good business.

Be careful and understand what is stopping you from starting your business.
