Swangz Avenue Singer’s Azawi And Vinka Top List Of 2021’s Most Listened To Songs

Ugandan music label Swangz Avenue has come out to reveal that two of its musicians Vinka and Azawi had the most listened-to songs in 2021. Vinka’s ‘Thank God’ song tops the list as Sheebah’s Boy Fire comes into second.

Azawi who has had a brilliant year comes in number 3 according to the statistics gathered by Song Boost App. Azawi released My Year in May this year whereas Vinka outed Thank God in September.

“The most played songs on radio/TV for 2021; Numbers don’t lie #1: Thank God, Vinka #2: Boy Fire, Sheebah #3: My Year, Azawi. Interestingly, Thank God is a new song, first played by Capital FM on Sept. 10, 2021, 7:39 a.m. compared to May 9 for My Year,” Swangz Avenue announced.

Being one of the most reputable labels in the country, Swangz Avenue has invested a lot in their artists who are mainly women.

Vinka had ‘Thank God’ as her major project this year and it really did well owing to the fact that she was caught up by family affairs.

Azawi’s year was the most brilliant as she dropped her debut album “African Music”. This really did well globally and announced her on the continental stage.

The other Swangz Avenue singer Winnie Nwagi also had an impressive year with a number of hit songs such as Sasi Ku Nyama among others.

The label also thanked everyone that has supported it in 2021.

It pledged to add quality to its work for the forthcoming year.
