Why? Well, because many people are always glued to their phones, yet they are supposed to rest. A weekend is a time to just lay low and be free.
Now, have you considered taking a break from social media as well? It’s hard, right? It helps though, in various ways that we may not even exhaust today.
Social Media may seem like a relaxation centre too but it’s another job people do without even noticing.
For the ladies, especially, these social sites are the places they go to for some assurance. I mean, they post photos to just keep taking in the beautiful comments.
That’s a Job! Fighting to impress people is a job that can drain you even more than office work. You have to go beyond your limits, sometimes even do things outside your parameters to keep up with people.
If you are that kind of person, you surely must stay away from social media.
Another thing is, as you keep on social media, you realize you are actually not resting. Being on social media keeps your mind busy. By the time the weekend is done, the fatigue is still there and yet you were actually supposed to refresh.
So if indeed your intention is to refresh, then social media may not be the place for you most of your time during the weekend.
Taking a break allows you to spend time with your family without having any distractions. Instead of being on your phone, be with your children, spouse, friends or parents.
Make the time count and make the weekend memorable. Consider this break and try out creating a deeper bond with people around you.
