Former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra Transferred To Hospital Following One Night In Jail

Thailand’s former Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, has been moved to a hospital for medical treatment after spending a single night in jail.

He was admitted to a hospital shortly after his brief incarceration. The decision to move him to a medical facility was made in order to ensure that he receives appropriate and timely medical attention.

Although the details of his medical condition have not been officially disclosed, the decision to transfer Thaksin Shinawatra suggests that his health requires specialized care that cannot be adequately provided within the confines of the prison system.

Meanwhile Thaksin Shinawatra’s incarceration came as a result of legal proceedings against him, but it is essential to note that the focus of this development lies primarily on his well-being and the provision of necessary medical treatment.

While the details surrounding his medical condition remain undisclosed, the decision to transfer him underscores the importance of his health and well-being.

In a statement the corrections Department added that he felt chest tightness and high blood pressure after which he was referred to the police hospital in Bangkok at around 2am on Wednesday.

Thanks I made his homecoming from years of exile on Tuesday and was taken to detention centre in a dramatic scene which stole the spotlight from political ally Srettha Thavisin who was elected as the country’s prime minister in a parliamentary vote later in the day.
