Andrew Benon Kibuuka president of Performing Artists of Uganda urged the new umbrella group to fight privacy and advocate for copy right law saying its affecting the development of theatre industry.
“Its disheartening that theatre industry is suffering terribly by invention of comedy that has eaten up theatre players yet they copy parts of theatre players without recognising the play writers,”Kibuuka said.
