Tributes Pour In for Late Bro. Ariseni Kwebiha

Tributes have been paid to Rev. Bro Ariseni Kwebiha, the elderly member of the Brothers of Christian Instruction. He died of natural causes on Thursday at the age of 99.

Kwebiha’s admirers lauded him during his burial at Mount St. Theresa, Amish I on Entebbe Road. It happened on Friday, January 14.

Rev. Fr. Richard Nnyombi, a senior member of the White Fathers, led the requiem mass. He spoke highly of Bro. kwebiha’s deep commitment to the institute of the Brothers of Christian instruction and it’s charisma of Christian Instruction and education of young people.

The provincial Supervisor of the Brothers of Christian Instruction, the very Rev. Bro Casio Aizire called the late an exemplary member of the institute. H

e said the late gave the brothers wise counsel by his words and actions.

The Very Bro. Ariseni Kwebiha, 99, hailed from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hoima. He was born on August 17, 1932. Additionally, he joined the juniorate of the Brothers of Christian instruction in 1943.

He then went through the institute’s postulancy, novitiate and subsequently became a religious Brother of Christian Instruction. He also taught in various schools associated with the institute.

Prior to his death, the late had been in his retirement at Mount St. Theresa Kisubi.

Bishop Yonah Lwanga’s death

Meanwhile, In similar news earlier published by NEWSLEXPOINT.com, the Uganda Orthodox Church recently confirmed the death of their leader, Bishop Yonah Lwanga. The man of God is said to have succumbed to cancer in Athens, Greece where he was undertaking treatment.

Bishop Yonah Lwanga’s death follows the death of other religious leaders such as Bishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga, Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata and others.
