NBS TV’s KURT presenter Tuff B has claimed that he forced Ugandans to love Bebe Cool’s music. The TV presenter idolized Mr. Cool as he grew up and he even was under the singer’s Gagamel in the early 2010s.
The two even collaborated on a song together titled Dogolyo as a response to Bobi Wine’s Matyansi Butyampa diss track. He was definitely a Bebe Cool fanboy but the two fell out a few years ago and Tuff B is now in the Firebase/NUP leader’s camp.
According to Tuff B, Ugandans didn’t like the Kasepiki singer’s music. However, he made sure to play the self-styled Big Size’s songs. By this, they started loving his music and he believes he has a big stone on the Gagamel boss’ career.
Additionally, the TV presenter said that anyone who claims to have loved Bebe Cool more than him is an outright liar. Tuff B added that Bebe Cool also immensely contributed to his career both musically and as a TV.
However, as all people do when they mature, the two also grew apart as their interests disintegrated. The TV presenter said that he’s sure Bebe Cool misses him.
“The truth is that I put myself on the line for Moses Ssali. He was singing but people weren’t feeling his music. I made sure to play his songs and force people to love him which they did. Anyone who claims to love Ssali more than I did is a liar. But as all people, we grew and our interests didn’t align. We separated but not in a bad way but I’m sure he misses me somehow,” he said.
