Tyre Express the makers of Dunlop tyres has donated tyres worth shs 100 million to government following president Yoweri Museveni appeal to the private sector to contribute towards Corona virus intervention.
Although the lock down has greatly affected entire business officials say it’s their corporate social responsibility to support government and vulnerable people when disaster strikes.
“Corona virus pandemic has hit the whole world and greatly affected day to day running of businesses however as part of our corporate social responsibility we felt we should contribute to this mobilization drive to curb Corona virus in the country”.
Corona virus first hit Uganda in March this year following returnees from Dubai, United Kingdom and Chinese in the country.
Due to covid lock down Tyre Express has registered low Tyre sales this season despite Tyre Express Selling variety of tyre brands in the market.
