Tanzanian Singer, Ray C Reveals Her HIV Status

The legendary singer from Tanzania, Ray C who was once a drug addict sent a shocking social media post disclosing her HIV status to her fans.

The popular music producer from Tanzania shared a video on her instagram page clearly showing a medical definition of her HIV test , in an initiative to encourage and raise awareness to her social media fans to do the same thing.

Although the video was indicating her negative status, some of her fans commented while asking if the typical case of stigmatization is related to those living with HIV/AIDS.

Ray C was challenged by others who told her to share a 2^nd by 2^nd video recording the described test.

Ray C who was a renown artiste in both Central and East Africa was surprisingly driven into drugs by her former boyfriend and rapper Lord Eyez and her music career suddenly tumbled.

Ray C who was seriously addicted almost lost her life until the former president of Tanzania, Jakaya Kikwete rescued her by easing her rehabilitation for 3 consecutive years.

Who knows? Ray C will revive her music career and get back to the top once again.
