Uganda Records 4 More COVID-19 Cases Making Total Number Of 52

The republic of Uganda on Sunday evening reported 4 new cases of covid-19 bringing a total number of 52 positive cases, all these returned from abroad and were placed in a quarantine.

Ugandan president, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni confirmed the cases and said that on Sunday evening 300 people were tested and four were confirmed positive and all these were place in a quarantine.

The president continued and said all these patients are currently doing well under health care and he promised to update us with more information on Tuesday, the 7th April 2020.

One of the victims is 22 years of age, a male from Wakiso District, the second one is a 66 years of age, a female from Luzira, the third victims is 65 years of age, a female from Jinja and the forth victim is 26 years of age, a male. All the above victims arrived from Dubai on 22nd March 2020.

The good thing is that Uganda has not yet registered any coronavirus deaths since the outbreak. Let’s keep our country in prayers.
