Ugandan Diplomat, Adonia Ayebare Appointed At UN General Assembly

Uganda’s Permanent Representative to United Nations Ambassador Adonia Ayebare has been appointed by United Nations Assembly H. E. Tijjani. Muhammad Bande as external advisor on G77.

Ambassador Adonia Ayebare is expected to galvanize efforts to address the common challenges faced by countries of global South as well as provide platform for constructive engagement.

The South summit by the G77 and China will be held in Kampala from 17th to 19th April 2020.

G77 at the United Nations is a coalition of 134 developing countries developed to promote its members collective economic interests and create an enhanced joint negotiating capacity in the United nations.
