For the many years I have known Bruce, he was a compassionate man, a loving man and a giving man. Bruce cared for others and was what you call a true Kenyan,’’said Uhuru Kenyatta.
The president said Bruce had no tribal boundaries and made friends across the country. He added that he recognised people for who they were and not for what they were.
That was the basis of our friendship. Bruce was an example of the Kenyans that we really want. Bruce was a man who was never afraid to give everything that he had for those who didn’t have.
This is the kind of man that we celebrate today. He had no political or class boundaries and was open to all. We need to emulate his life as Kenyans so that we can go far as a country,’’he said.
