Kenya’s president Uhuru Kenyatta together with opposition leader raila odinga had a surprise meeting on Friday (09th /03 /2018).

The two leaders called a truce and promised to work together to stop the country’s slide into what they termed as anarchy.
They portrayed their feeling of wanting to rebuild Kenya on the ground of prosperity fairness and dignity for all nationals
Odinga said that the political disagreements that have split the Kenyan generations must end.
President Uhuru Kenyatta revealed that the two had agreed to put Kenyans and Kenya first.
The two political leaders agreed upon a programme to affect their shared aims revolving around fighting corruption, ethnic antagonism and competition, and divisive elections.
In order to implement their future programme, they formed a committee co-chaired by lawyer Paul Mwangi and Ambassador Martin Kimani.
