UNEB Refutes Social Media Claims Of Exam Malpractice In 2024 National Examinations

The Uganda National Examinations Board ( UNEB ) has taken a strong stance against the recent rumors spreading on social media platforms regarding alleged exam malpractice during the 2024 Uganda National Examinations for the New Curriculum.

The board has categorically labeled these claims as false and is urging the public to dismiss them without hesitation.

In a concerning development, UNEB has highlighted that a significant portion of students displayed strikingly similar answers in the recent exams, raising suspicions about the credibility of the assessment process.

However, the board has moved swiftly to address these concerns and has assured the public that there is no concrete evidence to support the allegations of malpractice.

Amidst the swirling controversy, UNEB has reiterated its unwavering commitment to maintaining the integrity of the national examination system.

Emphasizing the importance of vigilance against misinformation, the board has called upon all stakeholders in the education sector to join hands in safeguarding the credibility of the examination process.

NEWSLEXPOINT.com recently reported that honorable Janet Kataha Museveni, Minister of Education and Sports urged private school owners to refrain from hiring teachers who are already on the government schools’ payroll.

The Minister, who also serves as the First Lady, emphasized that teachers employed in the private sector should not simultaneously work in the public sector. Apparently, this leads to subpar performance on both sides.
