The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) refused to give out the results of 3,500 who sat for National Exams over illegal behavior.

The UNEB executive secretary, Mr Odong Daniel said even though exams were directed without difficulties, cases of negligent professional behavior were discovered.
The offence was carefully planned by the third parties who helped candidates within the examination rooms,’’he said.
Mr Odong said that police officers and other security operatives physically found teachers inside examination rooms of some schools including Clever Origin Primary School in Bundibugyo District, Bundimulinga Primary School, Bundikahunga Primary school and Bubanda Primary School busy writing answers on black boards for the candidates to quickly copy.
He further said every single parent to the candidates in the affected schools above was told to pay 50,000 shillings to facilitate this malpractice, meanwhile the case will be forwarded to court, according to Daily Monitor.
