UPDF Soldier Injures 3 People After Several Gun Shots In Fort Portal

The UPDF soldier by the names of Tumuhimbise  Pius was arrested in Fortal Portal after allegedly shooting three men causing serious injuries to them. As we talk right now, Tumuhimbise is detained at Fort Portal Central Police Station located in Kabarole district.

According to close sources, they indicate that Pius gunned down two civilians including one of his friends by the time he was drunk.

During our interview to the regional Police Spokesperson, Lydia Tumushabe, she mentioned that Pius is already in trouble for shooting his fellow UPDF soldier, Sergeant Kenneth Mugisha who was residing in Kyamukerege.

This UPDF soldier created this tragedy today at 4:29am in the morning in Kyamukerege Village, Nyabukara Ward located in Fort Portal.

Lydia continued and said that Mugisha was immediately taken to Muhooti Army Health Center III after suffering several head injuries while the other victims were taken to Virika Hospital in Fort.
