Uganda Revenue Authority ( URA ) has recorded a Shillings3.7 trillion as it’s net revenue collection for end of September quarter.

The data from URA indicates that the tax collector exceeded it’s target by Shs127.1 billion on surplus accounts in both International and domestic taxes.
The revenue net collections were Shs3.7 trillion, a presentation of 103.5%. The presentation was 127.1 billion above target, with an exponential growth of 103.5% recorded compared to similar period in the last financial year, according to part of the URA statement.
In the last financial year, the tax collector generated 3.1 trillion shillings. It recorded an excess of 88.8 billion shillings in local tax collections alone and 46.6 billion shillings in international collections which was okay to cover shortages in some other place, according to daily monitor.
