United States Deported 34 Nigerians Over Several Offences

About 34 Nigerians were deported from the U.S on Wednesday for committing various offences in the country, according to Vanguard ngr.

The deportees who arrived in at Cargo wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, Nigeria at around 2:30 pm, included 2 females and 32 males, came back with a chartered Omni International Aero plane registration No: W342AX, according to News Agency of Nigeria.

Mr.Joseph Alabi, the spokesman of Lagos Airport Police Command confirmed the progress of NAN.

Mr.Joseph said at about 2:30 pm, they received 34 Nigerians who were deported from the United States and they included 32 males and 2 females.

25 deportees were said to have committed criminal offences, one was involved in drugs and the rest were reportedly having committed offences related to immigration, ‘said Alabi

The deportees were received by officers in Police, Nigerian Immigration service, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency ( NDLEA) and Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN ), ‘’he added.

He also continued and said the deportees were described by the pertinent authorities and permitted to go to their different destinations.
