This was a shock to many gauging by the fact that the boy is still young and not having the legal age of 18 that permits him to smoke. The other issue is that his father’s high profile status in the country is at stake now.
The video of the boy smoking has now carried a lot of debate with some criticizing the teenager and his parents. Others were in support of the ‘first ghetto son’ to live his life the way he felt plausible.
“That’s a new filter on snapchat, limited to only the first sons, you would also want to have it but you ain’t a first son.” A Twitter user commented citing that the video was just edited.
“That video is an edit from the regime apologist, gwe tobilaaba?” Another said implying it was the government’s work trying to taint Bobi Wine.
“What Bobi Wine’s son did, shows a poor image regardless of your opinions”, a Twitter user by the names Princewell tweeted.
“Can y’all stop judging the boy! First of all, he didn’t even choose those lights. Have you thought about what he wants. There’s nothing that turns me off more than judgemental people. It’s pointless to point out the plank of wood in someone’s eye and ignore the log in yours.” Another went.
We await to see how his father and NUP leader, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu will handle this situation.
