Vyper Ranking Narrates Painful Experience MC Kats Made Him Go Through

Dancehall singer Vyper Ranking surely will never forget events MC and TV host Edwin Katamba aka MC Kats after what he did to him.

Appearing in a YouTube interview with Galaxy FM Mr Henrie, Vyper Ranking chronicled his interactions with Kats.

The singer narrated that one day he had a show with Galaxy FM’s then presenter, Mr Mosh. A mutual friend of Mosh and Kats called Drake and connected the singer to the NBS After 5 co-presenter.

The Ekyenge singer and his team so badly wanted an interview on After 5. Kats however told them to first pay money and get their songs played on Trace Muzik and Sound City.

They did this and even sent him the proof of payment and the videos playing on the TVs. Kats then told them to find him at Wave Lounge.

Vyper grabbed a boda but on reaching there Kats wasn’t available. They were told together with his team that he was at Acacia.

Without delay they went to Acacia and found him there. He got so mad when he saw Vyper Ranking and asked why it was a man yet they had told him it’s a woman.

However the team told him that they had all along told him it’s a man and the videos also suggested so. Kats lost his cool and blasted Vyper Ranking.

Without any sort of preparation, he handed him the mic and told him to free style. The upcoming singer then had to pretend all was fine and go on with his groove.

As soon as they went for a short commercial break, Kats told Vyper Ranking to go to Wave. The singer called a boda boda which angered Kats. He asked him why he had called a boda and then instructed him to walk.

The team arrived at Wave and Kats continued his negative attitude towards the singer. They did the interview on a Tuesday at After 5 but still Kats wasn’t impressed.

It was at this time that NBS introduced it’s Katch Up show and Vyper got selected amongst the inaugural performers.

The artists to perform on the show were supposed to be picked up by the station’s MC, Isaac. Isaac was however in Gulu for another function and Kats was instead sent to pick up Vyper and his team.

When he got to to H20 where they were, he looked at them in utter disgust. He asked Vyper Ranking what he wanted from him saying that “I have done an interview on you but you’re so stingy. What more do you want from me? He then grabbed my collar and told me that he could beat me. At this point I was so frustrated and tired by this man’s bullying. I felt like beating him but decided to remain calm because he was drunk.”

Kats only let go of Vyper Ranking after noticing another singer Ziza Bafana step out of H20. On getting to NBS, Kats asked Vyper Ranking where the cameraman was.

The singer had no idea about who it was since he wasn’t part of the NBS staff. When he told Kats that he doesn’t know, Kats further threw tantrums.

They got to where Katch-Up was going to take place. Kats still wanted to make Vyper Ranking fail to perform. He read the lineup and said that Ziza Bafana was next to perform.

The Katch-Up management however said that Bafana couldn’t perform before Vyper Ranking. This too angered Kats.

Meanwhile a dejected Vyper had been standing far away from set and it was Anita Fabiola who came for him.

Even on set, Kats would pass his hand behind Bafana and push Vyper off stage. But Vyper’s manager also kept pushing him back and it became a tussle.

The singer further added that Kats got to a point of becoming his nightmare and haunted him.
