Arrest Him – Vyroota Faces Backlash For Inappropriate Dressing While Performing For Minors

Singer Vyroota is currently facing backlash from different social media users. This is after his inappropriate dressing while performing for underage students at a yet to be identified school. The performance seemingly happened over the weekend.

The Twafuna singer can be seen singing with his shirt off while his trousers are sagging below his buttocks exposing his underwear. Additionally, the singer goes ahead to hug young girls in this state, a thing that has aroused anger.

Many have been wondering why he would do such a thing especially owing to the fact that his audience is young. It was from this that the singer started facing criticism.

“Ironically, these schools prohibit women wearing trousers from accessing their premises, citing indecent dressing and upholding standards of smartness. See what smartness means when it comes to entertainment,” BBS journalist Culton Scovia Nakamya said about the incident.

“Ministry of @Educ_SportsUg what bunch of nonsense is this? You must reign on schools and stop this foolery. Enforce policies that keep people’s children safe. Find this school and hold the heads accountable!! Schools are not discotheques!! Look at the bipale-pale byona bikyaafu,” said social media self styled boy defendant, Godfrey Kuteesa.

Apparently, this is not the first time that several Ugandan musicians are failing to adhere to outlined principles of performing for minors.

In fact, a few years ago, Government banned musicians from performing for students in schools. The major reason was indecent dress code performance.

But as we all know, laws in Uganda are most times for decoration and never enforced. However, this is likely to cause some “earthquake” since many people have pointed it out.
