We All Die- President Museveni To All Those Who Mourned Gen Tumwine’s Death

President Museveni has addressed all those who celebrated Gen Tumwine’s death that happened in August by saying that the end result of life is death.

According to Museveni, he had not yet gotten time to read through these sadistic comments . However, his staff presented them to him and he decided to reply to them through a lengthy statement.

“Today, the 5th of October, I had the opportunity to look at the tweets that were being sent by some malicious and confused people when General Tumwiine died. My staff told me about those tweets, but I had not had time to look at them.”

Among those addressed was author Kakwenza Rukirabashaija, Bobi Wine among others.

Museveni added that these peope who celebrated the death are deceiving themselves. This is because the end result of life is death and the question all downs to the impact left by one behind.

“1. Mr. Kakwenza “moaned” (meaning mourned) with and admonishing everybody to be “humble” –meaning

2. Mr. Bobi Wine –became biblical, quoting “dust to dust” pleasure; that Tumwiine was not humble.”

“We all shall die, eventually. That, therefore, like the person in question or not. People who die cannot be a matter for celebrating whether you that are deceiving yourselves.”

President Museveni went ahead to highlight the achievements of his late General adding that he had left am impressive legacy behind.

According to Museveni, those who celebrated the death are shallow-minded. His legacy will live on forever while theirs fades away like dust.

The President concluded by defending Tumwine’s comments about the November 2021 rioters.

This is what made Tumwine hugely hated but Museveni said those were not his words but rather the Constitution from the Riot Act.
