Apparently the group disintegrated in 2008 after the Ayokyayokya singer exited it. And after a decade and a half apart, the group is regrouping much to the excitement of fans.
According to Cindy, this was the perfect time for this reunion to happen. It would never have been possible in the past few years.
However, they got some time, met, talked and expressed their emotions about everything that happened.
“Sometimes you grow up and leave some tendencies behind you. Our reunion would never have been possible in the last few years. Definitely, this was the right time. It would never have happened in the last year or the previous one but this one. We met and talked about everything, expressed our anger and disappointment and moved on,” she said.
It should be recalled that earlier on, the singer who is the president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) revealed what happened. Apparently, they were getting overworked.
Their then-manager, Steve Jean told them how they had to utilize the chance they had gotten. This is because they weren’t sure if it would surface again.
All their other non-music activities such as attending university had to be put on hold. Additionally, they went ahead to work for two non-stop years. When Cindy raised the issue, it wasn’t addressed and she decided to walk away.
