Many musicians seem to be fed up with the corona-virus situation which continues to put them under home confinement. The legendary singer Joseph Mayanja commonly known as Jose Chameleone has seriously reacted to the way the Ugandan government handles Coronavirus related issues these days.
According to Chameleone, other countries are opening and easing the lockdown to allow people to resume work which has helped their citizens to bring food on the tables. Ugandans are currently fed up of the covid-19 pandemic which has forced them to remain at home for the past three months.
Therefore to his conclusion, the ‘Wale Wale‘ Hit maker asked the Government to open everything and let people think for themselves not on orders that are seriously affecting them physically, emotionally and financially.
“A country of peace and freedom Has become a den of promises and hope. We have waited and waited so long!! We have abided but now that we know other societies are moving forth as they have always done we are keeping backward. Let’s pick onto the world tempo as COVID19 is a worldwide pandemic. You have addressed us sir, we have heeded too. Let Uganda go world tempo than keeping us home as the world moves forth. People are tired of the senseless “LOCKDOWN”: Other countries are opening,Let people have food on the table as you promised some of us were left out!! Open up and let’s do it ourselves. Abaantu Bakooye!!!!!!!! Ffenna Tukoye!! If they don’t wake up, We shall wake them
Up!!!!!’” Jose Chameleone angrily wrote this statement.
