We Want To See Our Kabaka By Force – King Saha Roars

Musician Mansour Ssemanda aka King Saha seems to be an activist who makes controversial choices and one of these has been demanding for the Kabaka.

Speaking in a local media interview, the singer demanded that he and other Baganda who he probably speaks for want to see the Kabaka.

It should be noted that the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II hasn’t made a public appearance for quite a while. This has sent fear in his subjects but his premier Charles Peter Mayiga revealed that he had traveled abroad for treatment.

Later on, photos of the Kabaka appeared showing him visiting his brother in Namibia where he’s the ambassador of Uganda there.

It was reported that the Kabaka was advised by the medical personnel to take some time off. He should be on the beaches to recover properly before resuming official duties.

Where the fears stem from;

There has been a cloud of fear from certain groups in the kingdom worrying and questioning the Kabaka’s health. They have gone ahead to blame the Katikiro for the Kabaka’s disappearance from the public domain.

Apparently, they have reached a point of calling the Katikiro a Museveni spy alleging that the two have ill intentions towards the king.

Saha said that they want to see their Kabaka by force even if he just waves to them. He even suggested that Bobi Wine should go and see the Kabaka and then come back and communicate to them what he said.

If this doesn’t happen, he’s going to rally fellow Baganda to wear bark cloth. They will then go to the streets and protest till they see him.

“Those officials from Buganda should know that we want to see our Kabaka. Even if he waves to us a good-bye, that’s fine. Or maybe Kyagulanyi should represent us to meet him. Then he comes back and communicates to us what he said. If not we shall wear bark cloth, go to the streets and protest till we see him.”
