Singer Weasel Manizo has expressed his excitement at his maiden solo concert that will take place on the 2nd of August at Hotel Africana. This concert which has been dubbed Memories of Goodlyf will be the first concert that Weasel performs in alone as the Goodlyf since the death of his partner Radio in 2018.
The singer said that it’s been paining him a lot whenever he’s had to go to concerts and he would be told to sing just two songs. Having a catalog of over 100 hit songs, he always finds it hard to pick those particular songs.
Additionally, he said that he’s been like a bird that can’t fly when one of its wings gets clipped off. Ever since Radio died, the bird hasn’t been balancing. And he’s glad that Promoter Nobat managed to bring back that wing.

“The truth is that when a bird loses one of its wings, it can’t fly because it can’t balance. The same has been with me. ever since my brother died. I have been lost and I couldn’t be the same again. But I’m glad Promoter Nobat managed to bring back that wing and stabilize the bird. I promise you a breathtaking performance because I have been starving. Whenever we go to concerts, we are told to choose just four songs. And this leaves you yearning,” he said.
The singer was accompanied by his brothers, Dr Jose Chameleone and Pallaso at this press conference. It was held at Victoria University Kampala.
The duo promised to support their brother till the very end of this concert and rallied all their fans to come through and support him.
