Weasel Recounts His Journey With Mowzey Radio

Singer Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel of the duo Radio and Weasel, has recounted his journey with the late Mowzey Radio. He revealed that they had a lot of dreams and so many ambitions as artistes and individuals.

Weasel and Radio became a duo at the beginning of their careers. The two worked together for close to 15 years. Unfortunately, Radio died suddenly after a nasty bar brawl.

In 2018, Mozey Radio died tragically after having a fight in a bar where he was severely beaten.

After Mozey Radio’s death, Weasel was left hanging wondering where he will start. This is because he had done everything with Radio. It took a tremendous amount of time for him to stand on his feet and do something musically.

As it is “the Radio week” where he had his birthday and the same week he got an accident and died, Weasel has had enough time to talk about the memories they had.

According to Weasel, they were building their label Angel music to be a big company that writes for artistes songs both in Uganda and outside. Weasel said they had so much unreleased music that wasn’t yet completed in studios. In addition, the album they were working on didn’t come out.

“We had a lot of dreams, we had much ambition to go further. We would be far in the music industry. People misunderstood “Angel music, it was going to be a company responsible for creating and writing songs for other musicians, and Gooddlyfe would have thrived,” he said.
