Its good news that WhatsApp has now reached a tech milestone of I billion active users today, the mobile messaging app has more than doubled its user base ever since it was acquired by Facebook.

And by that time the mobile messaging service had only 450 million monthly active users thus making annual sales of about $10.8 million, according to the Co-founder and CEO Jan Koum.
The messaging app has now become one of the most used and very popular ad free communication platforms in world, the service may also be used as a tool for business owners to communicate with their customers.
