Why Is No One Talking About Boys Who Got School Girls Pregnant During Lockdown

Since the opening of schools, most of the guns have been pointed at the girls who got pregnant during lockdown. Apparently, they don’t deserve to sit in the same classes with their fellows because they are a bad example to the rest.

It has been a hot and trending topic in the country with everyone giving their opinion as they desire. However, in all this, no one has talked about the boys who got these girls pregnant.

Obviously, there is a belief that the girls were impregnated by mature men but not all. Some were actually impregnated by fellow students, school going boys.

Isn’t it weird that they are exempted from all this battering. Why should it be that the girls are the ones who should stay away from school, which also may not be such a good idea. The only issue here is that, it’s the girls who carry the evidence of what happened.

These boys who are soon to be fathers should also be talked to. Not for purposes of just reprimanding them, but to prepare them for fatherhood.

Their is no denying what happened so how should they go about it then? They need to understand what they fit themselves into otherwise they will mishandle it and then we shall see singe mothers on the rise.

Teachers should be taught to handle such situations or be taught how to handle students who are now active sexually. Otherwise, denying this fact would cost the nation more.
