Why King Saha Believes “AKON CITY” Is An Investment Scam

Ugandan musical artiste Mansur Ssemanda popularly known as King Saha has been unhappy ever since the American based Senegalese singer Akon visited Uganda.

He openly doubted Akon’s plans of setting up Akon City in the pearl of Africa. The ‘Mulirwana’ Hit maker is quite skeptical on Akon’s ability to market and promote Uganda’s Tourism industry.

He openly said that ‘Akon City ‘seems to be an investment fraud. He was skeptical on the profitable investment pitches the Senegalese singer guaranteed. He therefore considered it a red flag.

According to King Saha, he strongly believes different people might be behind Akon’s visit to utilize taxpayer’s money for their own benefit.

Woke up thinking about this so called ‘Akon City’, I think it’s another Investment fraud. I pray I live up to 2036,” he said.

Akon is in plans to set up his first solar powered and environmentally friendly ‘futuristic’ City. Uganda has promised to give him land to build a crypto-based city, his second planned futuristic city in Africa. The Ugandan government said it has allocated one square mile of land to Akon and his cryto city. It is expected to be completed by 2036. He revealed that residents will be able to make purchases with his crypto currency known as AKoin.

NEWSLEXPOINT.com recently published a news story where, the US based Senegalese singer Aliaune Damala Badara Akon visited Uganda after having identified some business opportunities. Some musicians like Mansour Ssemanda popularly known as King Saha have questioned Akon’s visit to the Pearl of Africa.

The ‘Gundeeze’ Hit maker implied that Akon’s visit does not benefit Uganda’s music industry since the country has been under pandemic lockdown for a whole year now.
