Why Would People Think Winnie Nwagi Wouldn’t Pull A Huge Crowd? Lucky Mbabazi

Capital FM presenter, Lucky Mbabazi, has come out to question why some people even had thought that Swangz Avenue’s singer Winnie Nwagi would fail to pull up huge crowds for her concert.

Nwagi is one musician who seems to be hated and loved in equal measure going by social media.

However, on Friday 9th, her fans proved that the love outnumbers the hate as they thronged Lugogo Cricket Oval in thousands.

The concert totally sold out as the venue flooded with lots of people. By 7pm, the area was already full to capacity. And being her maiden concert, this was history made for the self-styled Firebaby.

According to Lucky, Nwagi is one of the most consistent artists. Besides every song she releases is always a hit not forgetting that she’s always in people’s faces with her seemingly irking character. People hate to love her and that’s why she keeps winning according to the radio host.

“Now why would people think @FirebbyUg wouldn’t pull a decent crowd? She is one of the most consistent artists. Every song she releases is a hit and she is always in your face. People hate to love her and that is why she keeps on winning.”

The Malaika singer is one of the most controversial artists in Uganda. This partly is owed to her dress code and her ‘I don’t care’ attitude. She’s severally lambasted her fans who try to lecture her on the manners of running her personal lifestyle.

Nwagi has also been indicted in a number of negative publicity on a number of occasions. And all these times, she’s proven to be unapologetic for these unbecoming behaviors.

It’s the reason why some Ugandans wanted her show to flop because if it sold out, then the ‘arrogance’ would increase. Well, now that it sold out, let’s keep our eyes open and see what comes out of her.

This hugely successful and well-choreographed show was organized by KT Promotions and rather not her label, Swangz Avenue.
