“There was a chance to work hard and appropriate money to construct the country’s oil refinery, but [Parliament] did not,” Pastor Robert Kayanja was quoted in the New Vision.
However, Kadaga has denied the claims, saying there was never such a chance. She said the man of God should come clear and make an apology for making such assumptions.
“Pastor Kayanja, you owe an apology to the people of Uganda and the 10th Parliament whose legacy you are distorting. No Budget for a refinery was presented or rejected, please substantiate, which meeting, which sitting, and which session this happened,” she tweeted.
However, people on social media trolled her asking if the 10th parliament has ever apologized for passing certain bills into laws.
“Have u ever come out as members of Parliament and apologized for all the dubious fake laws u passed. The corruption that’s going on in the government that u intentionally refuse to tackle, be there in Tanzania….leave us alone in our Uganda …we shall put it right to ourselves,” a one Mulwanyi tweeted.
However, some people think as two mature people, Twitter is not the place to solve issues. This is especially because they can meet.
“Dear mama Kadaga, as two senior and actually important citizens, kindly find a way of correcting each other privately or officially. Otherwise many young people are learning the unnecessary,” a one Kyahura Stuart said.
