You’re An Embarrassment To Journalism – Tweeps To Daniel Lutaaya

Tweeps have lashed out at NBS Journalist, Daniel Lutaaya and called him an embarrassment to the journalism profession.

They said this because of a post he put up on Twitter implying that Elon Musk should buy Uganda too just as he bought Twitter.

Lutaaya went ahead to spell the benefits of buying the country which annoyed some tweeps who said that if he has nothing to say, he should keep quiet.

“Hello @elonmusk while you are buying twitter, I have a deal for you.
Landlocked country, 47 Million people, Largest fresh water lake. All year round rain and sunshine, great soils for coffee. If you buy now, we’ll even throw in oil and gas as a bonus. Bambi tugule dia🙏🏾,” Daniel Lutaaya posted.

Several Tweeps came at him replying this post while expressing disappointment.

“Man! It has come to this. There is a thin line between journalism and content creation!” a one Samuel Kusti posted.

“Daniel, this is too low for you to think of trading your country you proudly say you love! #IamUgandan #MyRole,” a one Hason Mutunzi said.

“But these NBS journalists never disappoint, look at this imperialistic thinking.”

Elon Musk, has been the talk on streets after finally becoming the official owner of Twitter. The board of Twitter agreed to a $44bn (£34.5bn) takeover offer from the billionaire. According to Forbes magazine, Elon Musk is now the world’s richest person with an estimated net worth of $273.6bn mostly due to his shareholding in electric vehicle maker Tesla which he runs. He also leads the aerospace firm SpaceX.
