The young boy is believed to have committed suicide over bad results in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) whose results were released on 18th November.

The deprived family was  left in tears by the demise of the young boy who was circumcised a few days ago.

The deceased’s father Mr Njoroge David said he and the rest of the family members are still in shock by his son’s suicide, adding that he had no problem with any of the family members.

My son even made some jokes with one of the relatives on Sunday before hanging himself to death, which I suspect to have resulted from poor performance in the KCPE exams,’he said.

The deceased’s body was taken to engineer District hospital morgue. Police already launched investigations into the incident.
