2 Sisters Killed Their Father With A Hoe And Piece Of Metal

Police in Kabale is searching for two sisters who allegedly murdered their father using a hoe.

The 65-year-old Turyatemba Stanisilus was murdered on Sunday by his own daughters aged 18 and 16.

Mr Maate Elly, the Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson said the girl’s names were not disclosed to avoid interruption into their investigations.

Mr Maate however said the suspects reside in Kabindi Cell in Kabale District.

Mr Stanisilus was killed on Sunday night at around 10:30pm after a serious misunderstanding with his daughters, upon his arrival at home from the bar,’’he said.

The two sisters allegedly used a hoe and a piece of metal to kill their father who was drunk, he was hit on the head blaming him for attacking one of them.

Elly’s body was discovered the following day on Monday by neighbours and relatives. The suspects had escaped, but police is seriously hunting for them.
