60 People Dead After The Fuel Tanker Exploded In Tanzania

60 people died on Saturday when the fuel tanker busted after a terrible accident at Morogoro two hundred kilometers West of the Tanzania’s capital city Dar es Salam, according to police.

The majority of the victims were mainly food vendors and motorcyclists who stormed the accident site to collect free fuel which was leaking from the truck that overturned after an accident on Morogoro – Dar es Salam road.

Many bodies got burnt beyond recognition.

The regional police chief, Mr Mtafungwa Willbrod said the locals experienced a very big explosion which has so far killed over fifty seven people, especially those who rushed to collect leaking fuel.
